Friend or foe?

I can’t make up my mind about celandines. When they appear en mass, as in my blip, I think they look beautiful and have such pretty leaves as well as the golden blooms. On the other hand, when they dare to pop up in my flower bed I feel rather resentful about their intrusion. However, as my garden lies on the edge of the natural wild landscape I just have to learn to put up with these extras.
While I was preparing our evening meal, I glanced up to the skyline of the hill behind our house and spotted a bit of movement. You can see what I saw if you look at my extra.
