Debasement

A late check out from our apartment here in Madrid meant a very lazy morning on the terrace soaking up the last of the holiday's rays.

Then bus in to town for the last time and a tasty lunch in the square right outside Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia where we had tickets booked. A great afternoon of twentieth century art then (with Picasso's Guernica the one to really draw the crowds) and when I saw a room that was screening 'Un Chien Andalou'.....well, the photo opportunity just presented itself really.

As I type I'm sitting at the airport with a glass of Mahou Cinco Estrellas for a final time while waiting for the flight home to Scotland. Cheers Spain, you've been great!
