Flowering Currant Lane

A cold wind today, but mostly sunny though.  There was a couple of wintry showers, typical lambing weather. Heavy rain this evening, soon stopped, calm and clear again.

Up early, some jobs done around the house.  Headed out walkies with Sammy.  Some time spent in the garden again, and friend Vera popped by for a yarn.  Headed into Lerwick, burst tyre on my way.  Me friends at the cinema.  A quiet evening at home, finally getting out walkies again with friend Julie.  Off to bed early.

As mentioned with the daffodils, there's plenty of colour about now, and the flowering currants are really starting to look great. It's a real shame they don't flower for longer, such pretty bushes, and the bees love them.  Plenty of FC around the village, some great displays with the lack of frost.  This one's are really starting to look good.  Looking up to (uncle) Jim's house, Houl Road, Scalloway.
