Daffodils at Rockville
A fine day, tad chilly, breezy and cloudy, but dry. A lovely calm evening.
Black bag waste around Sandwick and Cunningsburgh today, with Jack and Lewis. A heavy load, nearly nine tonne. Met friend Julie for walkies after work. Peat hill season has started. I didn't get much done, but I dug out the ditch for drainage, hopefully have things started soon. Big Brian and Madeline popped by for a cuppa. Feet up before bed.
There is now plenty of colour returned to the landscape now, mostly in the form of daffodils. Sadly they don't flower for long, so the early flowering daffodils are now wilting, but new ones still opening up. Along with that, flowering currents have had a great year this year, many still looking fantastic and bright. A bright garden path on a dull day. Rockville Cottage, Stove, Sandwick.
