Monday: Birdbath

Do not mistake this for the Trevi Fountain, it is indeed our new birdbath at the house.  

Some time ago, K and I speculated to the Estates Team that it would be nice to have a birdbath.  Little did we know that would translate into one appearing in our little dried out interior courtyard that is so hot everything just turns to shrub in it.  The birdbath has also been placed in front of a large air conditioning unit so the poor things will just be thrown into the air if they land in front of it.  I’d say it hasn’t been terribly well thought out.

On a social note, we went over to my US colleague’s for dinner tonight.  That’s always fun!
