Before the Storm

At lunchtime, I went for a walk, while the weather was sunny and only slightly windy. 

I took pictures of more flowers that are incredibly early this year, and will get battered in the gales that are rattling the shutters while I am writing this post.

So here’s a collage of columbines from our back garden, and clematis, a wild rose, irises and peonies from our neighbours’ front gardens.

Tonight, P and I will brave the storm and go out for a meal and some bubbles. Today nine years ago, we moved into our house, and that calls for celebration.
