Daffodil Village
A fairly chilly day, breezy but sunny. Clouded over this evening, a couple of showers too.
Up early, headed for a late shift in the airport. A day working on the check-in, steady all day. All flights in and out on, also an international charter from Bremen, Germany. Walkies with Sammy, now feet up for the night.
Left a tad early for work, gave me time for a brisk walk. It might not be overly warm yet, but signs of spring are now everywhere. After a long wet winter, the wonderful splashes of yellow daffodils are just what we need. You'll find all sorts of varieties across the isles, some parishes having more than other. Very little frost this spring, a great display has blossomed, sadly little frost means a big midgie year though! The main road through the village is looking fantastic just now, Heatherbrae, Cunningsburgh.
