From a river to a stream

The river that used to stretch from one side to the other of the retaining walls is now becoming a meandering stream. Once again the temperature was in the high twenties, very pleasant but not good news. We had our AGM this morning which passed smoothly enough. I came home to write up the minutes and translate them for a submission to the prefecture and then settled down to continue watching a French film I was watching yesterday only to find that it had been removed from Replay. Drat! So I watched some sport instead and listened to Liverpool lose for the second time this week. I think recourse to my book will now be a better idea!
