Diary of an Edinburgher

Exciting Delivery!

A nice sunny morning, and NO wind. Archie and I had a couple of walks, Thoughts are turning to 'capsule wardrobes' for Seville. Such thoughts are not in my thoughts yet...

When JR was out in the afternoon, and after our walk to the graveyard, Archie and I watched (continued watching) 'The English Patient'. I've seen it when it first came out, but it's worth watching again. JR took Archie out in the afternoon when she came back from town, gave him a bath, then baked muffins for tomorrow and made tea.

In the afternoon a very exciting package arrived. It was a poster from our artist friend, Jan, in Adelaide. We were very excited. She was working on these when we visited her in January. We didn't have time to go and see the actual ship, The Fearless, the only remaining steam tug in Australia. Keith LeLeu bought it for $1 in Brisbane, and sailed it round to Port Adelaide. Archie was very impressed. Check out the poster here.

Another session with Mr Ripley, sorry - Dickie Greenleaf - this evening.
