Someone Benefits

Walking Paddy today and I spotted this fella, precariously balanced on a brittle piece of foliage around four feet off the ground, he looks like he’s enjoying this wet weather anyway.

Quiet day, a long hot shower to start the day off, water so hot it’s just bearable, quite invigorating, coffee and toast and ready to face the world. A few bits &bobs sorted in the morning before preparing myself for an hour long online interview.
Kaylee, a postgraduate student reached out to local Military Veterans to take part in her research. I quite enjoyed the experience, strange what you can recall when talking to a stranger for the first time. Clips from her various interviews will form part of a film that is due for release in September, something to look forward to.

The evening was spent catching up on TV that I’d missed, The Hairy Bikers Go West was particularly poignant. The death of Dave Myers following this series must me hard on his partner and long time friend Si King.
