Slept well again and had toast and Ds delicious marmalade for breakfast. Decided to go into town for shopping and to look at the recent graduates exhibition at the art gallery.
The sky looked very grey as we left but there was no rain all day (hurray!) However it became increasingly windy through the morning and by the afternoon we were really getting blown around! We started to look in jewellery shops for a gift for Hs 40th birthday , pearl earrings for D and new trainers for me. We were mostly successful - hopefully the necklace that D ordered will be the right one- and i also bought some earrings in one of the jewellers we went into. They were half price - got to love a bargain! We eventually got to the exhibition - interesting and occasionally in a good way!
From there we went for bai buns and dumplings- very filling- and then back to Ds for a rest from the wind before going to The Traverse to see ‘This is Memorial device’. We decided to get a taxi there to avoid the wind - the right decision! Wasn’t sure what to expect from the okay but we really enjoyed it. It was only 75 minutes long and we agreed that it definitely felt like the fringe production that it started out as. Walked back home via the almost finished EFI- really like the lighting effects. It was definitely less windy until we got close to home.
