Sunny morning- lovely! Went looking for bedding plants for D’s window boxes but none to be had- too early. Had a nice browse though and delicious coffee and scones at Whitmuir. Let myself be persuaded to go for a walk along Portobello beach- thought it would be far too windy! However it wasn't too bad and it was good to be by the sea( which was remarkably calm). We called in at the supermarket to buy the ingredients for a roast beef dinner followed by rhubarb and ginger crumble . D did mist of the cooking when we got home - it was delicious! Watched mediocre tv in the evening, waiting for A to fly in from Bristol
