In a spin

Eben, Luca and Frieda spinning invisibly on a small roundabout in Endcliffe Park. Later they tired themselves out on a huge inflatable slide nearby - Easter holiday attractions.
I was there with Jack, Marianna and Simone, dodging showers and watching the fast flow and high level of the normally placid River Porter in the park. So much rain, over these past months.
This wasn't the original plan for the day. But Josh had finally gone to the GP, who'd found worryingly low oxygen readings and sent him straight to the respiratory unit at the local hospital. Ruth went too and the rest of us took care of the boys.
We were all worried that J might have developed pneumonia. Fortunately, investigations revealed a chest infection but nothing worse. So J came home with antibiotics. If we can persuade him to rest up a bit, all should be well.
