Abutilon X

Well this is exciting. Regular viewers will know that I have been trying to hybridize Abutilon 'Apfelsine' and Abutilon 'Rosela', taking pollen from the former to fertilize the latter and sowing the resulting seeds. One of the offspring now has a flower bud. I was hoping to get a completely new colour but, at this stage, it looks very similar to Abutilon 'Apfelsine'. I shall wait until its fully out to pass judgement. Previous installment here.
