Victoria

Our new garden has a small orchard with apple, damson, plum, pear and quince trees some of which are starting to come into blossom. The damson trees (including the 'Shropshire Prune') are now in blossom as is this Victoria plum. The apples should follow in a week or so. I have a list of ten apple varieties but don't know which trees are which at this stage. The trees are quite old and we will have to see how productive they are. One possibility is to create a new orchard in the small paddock.
