I’m sure you’ll understand that I’ve not been able to visit journals today. It’s been, as you might expect, a busy day getting on with the practicalities of arranging the funeral. Only when you start do you realise the myriad of detailed thought and negotiations that are ahead of you.

I will try and get around to replying to all your kind thoughts, hugs and condolences. They mean a great deal to Susan. And thank you too for those of you who left hearts. So very moving.
