Mike and his Mum

An early start as the taxi picked us up at 7am. We had thought about getting the bus the bus stop has moved and is not under cover at the moment due to the roadworks and the forecast was for rain and wind. The right choice as the weather was terrible.
Plenty of time at the airport to have breakfast. The plane was slightly delayed but we had a good flight down. Collected the car , abit of traffic on the motorway but we made it to Mikes mums just before 1pm.
Our nephew Daniel popped in. They are expecting their second baby in July so very exciting.
Went round next door to see Pat and Deb. Had a good chat.
Mike fitted some Alexa devices so if his Mum falls and needs help she just needs to say Alexa call for help. He fixed the phone that had become loose and tided up some boxes and wires etc.
We had fish and chips from the shops round the corner and then left David with his Grandma and headed for a nearby hotel.
A one walk down the corridors to our room.Watched some of Comic Relief but I was tired and fell asleep :)
