Weathering

Our weather station has been slowly deteriorating over the last year or so. A few weeks ago it finally gave up after 15 years of service. Today Andy has set up our new weather station - a more elaborate affair than the one we had previously. Now we can monitor rain and wind, air pressure, UV and other things, as well as temperature and humidity. I find it’s quite addictive viewing and very useful.

Grateful:
- To have a warm and sunny day. It felt like spring.
- To walk through peaceful and colourful streets on my way to the shops this morning.
- To Andy for fitting and setting up the weather station. It involved some carpentry to create a saddle for the section which contains the monitoring instruments.
