Drippy

A day of catching up with jobs inside.  The persistent heavy drizzle has saturated everything including Merlin and I as we squelched in the mud on our morning and afternoon walks.  I made chocolate biscuits with some 'scraps' of chocolate.  They went well with an afternoon cup of tea.  The magnolia in the garden is in flower, it looks pretty even in its bedraggled state.

Grateful:
- For a good night of sleep
- For homemade rhubarb and honey smoothie
- To the woodpeckers we can hear calling -  here it is the 'yaffle' of the green woodpeckers who feed on insects in the fields near by.
