Happy Birthday

BP this morning and it was the instructor's birthday. She is full of life and energy and funny and makes the Friday exercise class (Funky Friday), good fun.

Home for shower and breakfast and lots of chat about kitchen makeover.  This first started as an idea a few years ago and the answer was 'the kitchen is fine, we don't need to change it'.  Over the years ...........drip, drip,, drip ......... and now it is a great idea and OH is completely behind it.  I said that I was happy to start making plans but did not want any conversation about 'it was never my idea, I didn't want to do it' but just want him to be 100% behind it.  He agreed and visited granite showroom on his way to see MIL and is already costing up the materials.

I spent a lovely afternoon in my sewing room making things - lots of ideas buzzing around in my head and have spoken to No.2 about a photography session when we get back from Miami so I can get some good images to start promoting my work on Etsy.  I still have a crisis of confidence whether it is good enough but only time will tell and I have enjoyed the beginning of the journey and the crafting is great fun.  Not really bothered about making much money, just to cover the cost of the materials and to be able to sew and make without looking for cupboards to shove my efforts into!!

Easy dinner and a few episodes of Kin - BBC Irish gang drama - but I fell asleep at the end so will need to re-watch.
