Sooth Wick o Soond

A beautiful sunny day, gentle winds, warm in the lea.  Clear skies tonight, a cold night ahead. 

Up fairly early for a Saturday, washing out after breakfast.  Headed out walkies, met up with friend Julie.  Picked up Julie in the afternoon, we headed north for more walkies, and a visit to Aywick Shop.  A quiet evening at home, with some telly.  Final walkies of the day, then meeting friends for a couple of pints. 

We arrived off the ferry, it wasn't long before we stopped off for a walk.  The ground has fairly dried up this week, but still a lot of boggy patches off the beaten track.  We reached the beach, dry on our foot there.  A fine view across the beach, with the loch at the back.  Looking across South Wick of Sound, towards the Booth of Sound and Newtown behind, West Yell.
