Snow, Sunshine an Sandwick

A cold wind brought the first snow of the day, about 9am.  The winds calmed, and the sun came out.  A lovely calm evening, last looked it was -4.

Olly and Harald were eager to get out this morning, and then headed to work.  Early shift in the airport, and I was the only one first thing on check-in.  Three helicopters, a charter and two flights soon checked in.  A few delays with weather.  Laura made it home from Glasgow, and popped by on my way home.  Lovely evening for walkies, and then an early night.

Love it or loathe it, it looks like this cold spell of weather is here to stay fir a bit yet.  Me personally, I'm loving it.  You can always add an extra layer to stay warm, or throw an extra peat on the fire.  What I'm loving most, is the calm sunny weather that's coming with the snow.  Much thanks to the men on the gritters, the main roads have been kept clear.  Clear roads means I can get to enjoy this snowy, sunny views.  Looking over Sandwick.
