Now, as I see it......

Out of season

Not as bright a day as yesterday but still good for a walk.  I parked at the station at Sheringham and walked to the lifeboat station at one end of the 'prom' and then along to the other end before heading back.  I was quite surprised to see from my tracker that it was just under two and a half miles; I always think of it as just a pleasant stroll by the sea.  It was interesting to see a lot of students on the beach with measuring poles; I spoke to a teacher who was with them who said they were 'A' level students from Lincoln measuring beach profiles and the effects of the sea and who would be back again later as part of their exams.  I'd seen three coaches from Lincolnshire in the car park and just assumed it was the first of the day trippers!

This building along the prom is the Lifeguard station during the holiday season.  For some reason the near end of the building always looks very neglected.
