Eryri from Tremeirchion

A bright but icy start to the day and a walk around the village first thing.

A wander up to the Salusbury Arms community pub at lunchtime where the Saint David's Day celebrations continued with a "Daffy Cafe". The pub was trimmed up with daffodils and there was a raffle, a "Pull the Leek" themed tombola and a "guess the number" jar filled with horticultural bulbs. We came away with a couple of Easter egg prizes.

A shopping trip over to Llandudno (see extra) this afternoon with another cafe stop at Waterstones.

The main blip was taken from the living room today looking across the Vale of Clwyd to the mountains of Eryri some 40 km away. The top photo was taken at 08:18 and the bottom one some nine and a half hours later at 17:49.
