St David's Festival Charity Concert

SATURDAY

I headed over to Prestatyn for this morning's Parkrun. It was a chilly 4ºC but at least it stayed dry. I completed the 5 km in 00:18:20.

This evening we attended the  St David's Festival Charity Concert at Denbigh Town Hall. Organised by the Rotary Club, it featured Cantorion Gogledd Cymru, one of North Wales’s most prestigious male voice choirs. 

Also solo performances by  soprano Lisa Dafydd of Ruthin and baritone Twm Tegid of Holywell.

The singing was excellent, the chairs were hard and the jokes were shockingly non-pc.
