Joe Tree Day

As a tribute to our founder, Joe Tree, we drove past zillions of trees, stopped in a place I did not expect, then drove down the A7 past the target, which you see here.
This sycamore is of no great import except that every time we pass it I greet it like an old friend, with a 'Hello Tree'.

This tree reminds me of one that, when I was looking after my father while Mum was in hospital, signified the halfway point between hospital and their home, a journey of mixed emotion repeated daily over a period of a month. That was a long time ago but the memory persists.
