Lavender sprigs

A walk along the coast road gave us panoramic views of Nice and I was delighted to see some sprigs of lavender growing in a bank. A little too far away to get a close up of the flowers unfortunately, but great to have the sea as a backdrop. We mooched along to Villefranche for lunch and while we eating the sun actually popped out from behind the clouds. It was gorgeous.
