Lemon Butterfly

We caught the train from Nice to Menton today to go to the Lemon Festival (altho to be honest it should be called the citrus festival). As we walked out of the station we were met by a series of extraordinary sculptures decorated with lemons and oranges - there was a lovely citrusy perfume in the air. The Olympics was the theme for these sculptures and my favourite was this swimmer - it was totally amazing and each sculpture had appropriate sound effects. .

However I must mention our chaotic and completely anarchic train journeys today which made South Western Railway look like thegold standard of railway travel. Did I just say that?!!
