Jennings Brewery

Jess had the dentist today, I offered kind words and blagged a trip to Cockermouth. This image was taken at the confluence of the rivers Cocker & Derwent.
I thought I'd get a shot of the former Jennings Brewery before it completely falls into disrepair or gets knocked down. Sadly like many breweries it gets taken over by a multinational (Carlsberg/Marstons in this case) with the promise of keeping the Jennings site going, then lo and behold it's shutdown and "Jennings" ales are produced at Marstons in Staffordshire.
That's it, 200 years of history ended and a major loss to the town.
