Plugged

A day of progress.

The new boiler was fitted and this hole in the wall was plugged with the new vent pipe. Hopefully we won’t see this again for many, many years.

The radiators were fired up. Most of them worked and the fabric of the house is moving from chilled to cosy. Some blockages exist as not everything is heating up fully but hopefully the cleansing liquid will do its work. We are at a comfortable temperature again. Water good and hot.

The electricians are due tomorrow and the joiner to put the cupboards back.

The vacuum motor (correct part) - ordered Saturday lunchtime- arrived today and it all now works.

I had a helpful constructive chat with a bank to sort out a problem and a church meeting this evening lasted just 36 minutes and cleared lots of paperwork.

All in all a good day.
