It Won’t Be Long Now

We had a totally free day, no place to go, nothing that we had to do. Hubby decided to hook up the new tv. First glitch-it would not fit on our tv stand. Luckily, we had a sofa table upstairs that worked perfectly, even matched our rec room furniture. Jamie will be over later to help move the solid oak tv stand up to one of the bedrooms. The toy box will be moved to the hall to make room. Then the old media will have to be put back in. The good news is that we found some old vcr tapes and DVDs that we can get rid of. So much time and work needed whenever you make even a small change in your home. Second glitch is that the fire stick cannot connect to the new tv, more research is needed. We probably don’t even need one on this tv. Jamie will try to troubleshoot that problem also. If you remember, this whole buying spree started because our equipment wasn’t compatible. Still isn’t even though he bought the latest and greatest. Whew! At least he was able to turn on the only channel I ever watch using our new “magic remote”. For heaven’s sake! While hubby worked on TVs, I went out to see if the earliest daffodils in the garden had opened yet. As you can see, with this week’s warm weather forecast, I should have flowers by the weekend. Yahoo. I did laundry, other housework and minor lifting when necessary. There is a penance service and confessions at a neighboring church tonight. We plan to attend; need it after the tv fiasco.
