Weekend away

No,1 is away for the weekend and sent a few lovely pictures of them enjoying the hot tub and this one of the place they are staying.  If she is happy, I am happy!

The paint had dried ok but still looked a bit patchy so OH gave it another coat.  I was expecting No.2 and H for lunch but wires were crossed and he had other plans.  We ended up with a massive joint of pork and loads of vegetables.  OH had a quick visit to care home and we decided on a visit to the pub while dinner was cooking.  Our local has been closed for around 18 months so we vowed to support it when it reopened.  The wine was good and not expensive and we will return for dinner later this week to check out the food?

Home for dinner and a lazy evening in front of the fire.
