Restore to Glory

As you might have noticed, I'm really enjoying the mediaeval town of Haarlem as there are so many nicely detailed architectural beauties to be found.

What I like most is that people take good care preserving the old buildings.

Today I admired this ornamented door being restored to it's old glory!

It's okay to come close by pressing the magnifying glass of 'L' key, but don't touch the putty filler till it's dry ;-)
