Harbingers

The garden is starting to come to life. I love this time of year when there seem to be bulbs popping up everywhere. In some cases, I greet shoots with excited anticipation, wondering whether a carefully chosen new tulip will live up to its promise. Then there’s the mystery of what exactly G scattered into the vegetable patch - tired of planting up the borders with old bulbs! And finally, there’s the welcome of old favourites- like these crocus, annual visitors to my blip pages in February, regular harbingers of spring. 

Thanks so much for all the messages in response to the awaited birth; they had a planned hospital visit yesterday and all is well - just a case of waiting now for nature to take its course!
