No idea what this it but it's very shiny - presumably evolved to look like anything other than an insect - it's hardly inconspicuous!

Enjoying the half-hearted summer at lunchtime I wandered around the bliptree path - which is all getting rather a mess with the building of the new school and all the consequential road and pipeline laying. I had settled on blipping some of the wild roses that were trying to mitigate the mess, but right at the end of the path I found this fellow.
