11 years (Day 3189)

It was very windy this morning when I took Sigyn for her first wander of the day. Back home, the wind noise was freaking her out, and rather than leave her home alone for the morning, I took her through to Mum and Dad.
With all of that out of the way, I headed to town to have a look at a shower which wasn't working. After spending a while investigating, I realised that the pump wasn't starting when the shower was switched on, and that it was air-locked. I managed to get the air lock cleared, but I suspect it will come back because the pump isn't installed properly.
The next job was out in Rendall and was supposed to be a fairly straightforward tap change on a basin. Typically, it took a while to get the water switched off, and removing the old tap took a while. The "while you are here job" was changing the waste in the basin (the plug hole bit). When I removed it, the waste trap fell off because the waste pipe had been cut and glued back together, which would explain why it was leaking.
Home for lunch, then off to Mum and Dad's to get Sigyn out a wander. It was quite bracing along the shore with winds between 40 and 60mph hurling salt spray at Sigyn and me. I put Sigyn back to Mum and Dad's while I went to check on the horses. None of them seem bothered by having stood around in a gale for near enough 24 hours. They are just pleased they have more hay to munch.
After a blether and coffee with Mum and Dad, I took Sigyn home and had a blether with my beautiful wife on the phone.
A couple of extras added, but none of the pics today convey how windy it has been.

After the celebrations a couple of days ago for my 11x365 blips, I thought I would mention that today is the actual anniversary of my first blip 11 years ago. I am going to keep at it a while longer.
