Not the Matterhorn….
… a mountain I don’t know, called the Pointe Percée (lit.: pierced point) is the highest mountain in the Aravis range of the French Prealps in Haute-Savoie. At 2753m it has 1643 m of prominence, and is classified as an ultra prominent peak. We could see this from above Champery, sitting in the Col de Cou between France and Switzerland (extra) I must explore this area more once the avalanche danger has disappeared!
Just looking out of the window at daylight and it is 6pm, the days are getting longer.
