The Early Bird …

… we have had a few Great Egrets in our area in recent years but I’ve never seen them so far away from a lake before. The fields in the valley bottom are so saturated with recent rain that a lot of small lakes have formed so worms are now on the menu instead of fish apparently.

Thanks for the many gifts for yesterday’s snowy tracks, I shall get round to checking your journals in the next couple of days. Bit busy here …
