Gyre House
It’s difficult winkling out a different shot on the same route I’ve covered for the last twenty years. But I am trying. As you all know. So on hearing today’s forecast, and after CMC departed for her piano lesson, I walked up to Grindallay House and back. I met Jan walking her dog which is called ‘Restraint’. Very damp and the rain started just as I crossed back over the threshold. Chopped some kindlers, dealt with a Hoy Kirk matter. Received 5 new CDs through the post. Grieve’s cottage is in a very damp location – adjacent to the old mill pond and dam. Whilst I await CMC’s return I have sought solace in a blistering Port Charlotte.
