North west wind with a chilly etc.  An EB – Emergency Bibs.  Went along to say cheerio to Emily who is returning to her work and study in Glasgow.  She is departing a day early because all boats ae cancelled on Saturday.  When she gets to Scrabster a friend is picking her up and going to Ullapool.  I went and lifted some neeps/carrots/parsnips/beetroot for weekend donner.  Phoned the Church of Scotland, in EH, about the Hoy Kirk insurance policy.  Riots in Stromness as the butcher has run out of Seville oranges.  The world is still rotating but I haven’t been able to correspond on Blip as my appliance has been missing for 72hrs.  It turned up, unaccompanied, is my mother’s Carehome room.  Don’t ask.
