My motto for the day. We had some early rain. It left some puddles on the gazebo flooring. The day has been hot and muggy. Most of the puddles evaporated. Except for one. This even along came a duck family . Mother and two juveniles. They were thirsty. We said “You are welcome to slake your thirst here, duck family.” And they did so…. With much duck chatter and enthusiasm. Then the young ones preened themselves and having done so, fell asleep next to the puddle while Mother Duck kept watch. Awwww ….. blessings.
