Carters Beach, Westport

After lunch we decided to travel to Westport (about 1 hour west of here) to go and get groceries. While heading into the supermarket, we saw TeeJay at her car on the phone. We waved and carried on into the supermarket.

We ventured out of the supermarket about an hour later (and a few hundred dollars poorer!) and went and found a cafe and had a coffee. I then asked Farmerboy if we could take a detour and go to Carters Beach - and being the kind man he is, agreed. We headed to the beach where the tide was out, and the sun was slowly starting to go down. This is son T heading towards the sea. It was a gorgeous day, hardly a breath of wind, and wonderful to have the warmth of the sun on our backs. It was a nice afternoon away from the farm.
