Looking towards the South

Yesterday's photo was taken looking towards the west, so today's has been taken looking to the south. The big mountain with the dusting of snow is Mount Mantel.

Farmerboy, who is a Justice of the Peace, had a training day today, so we were out early at 7am feeding the cows, so he could get to his meeting. It was still dark at that time of day. When we ventured outside, we were greeted with a light dusting of snow on the ground, although with the rain we had while we were out, it didn't last long. It was still mighty cold (-0.5) and my fingers and toes enjoyed the warmth of the heater in the ute, after we had finished winding up the electric fence and standards.

The sun did come out for a short time this afternoon, although the air temperature was still very chilly.
