It seemed like a great idea to have lunch with Cheryl.


The pub is 9 miles from me so 25 minutes drive maximum.
After 40 minutes, thanks to road works I’d managed 5 of those 9 miles.

Graham laughs at how much time I allow for journeys – today I was on time because of this “excessive” caution.

I always feel like I go here a lot but my planner suggests it’s been 6 months.
And we are very boring – fixed price menu, shepherds pie, mini crème brulee and latte!
