Lake Inari Aurora

We are in Finland and its b@@@@@ freezing.  Mainly hovering around minus 20.   This evening we went out to a location down the lake to look for the Aurora.   There was a Teepee where we lit a fire and made hot chocolate which was extremely welcome as the temperature had gone down to minus 25.

The temperature made photography really difficult particularly trying to adjust manual settings with gloves off.  

If we get  more Aurora nights I am sure my skills will improve but this the best picture I got tonight.  The focus is not very good I'm afraid.

Today is a significant day for me and as one friend said "Most people are just happy to have candles on their birthday!"
