Snowshoeing

We went on a night snowshoeing trip.  I have never done this before and it was a great experience.

The snow was about 50cms of powder and I only fell over once!

At the half way point we lit a fire (this seems to be a regular Finnish activity) and enjoyed hot chocolate.

On the way back we saw the Aurora but hadn't got our cameras with us. 

  

Unfortunately there was a spectacular Aurora later at 2am which we missed as we were in bed :-(
