Wednesday

After a quick glimpse it has been a very dull, flat calm day.  A lot of sheep escaped, and Luke and his dog came and shifted them.  There was a visit from an excellently conditioned male Sparrowhawk looking for finches.  Went dancing in the Toon Hall – it was quite well attended.  Said goodbye to Tony and Veronica.  I went to visit my Mum and she immediately asked how my brothers were.  I’d never heard of them before.  She was quite irate because she said she’d been defrosting a chicken for two and a half hours.
 
Never cross a Corgi, especially with a Dinky.
