Lifeboat going spare
A sharp frost again this morning - working indoors on Dunollie stuff. We're hoping to get many of the new shrubs labelled before the garden opens again in March.
Went down town after lunch and for a change walked over to the other side of the harbour, the south side where the lifeboat is moored. We have a new lifeboat now, moored up at the new community berths and this is the old one - I'm not sure what's going to happen to her.
Had a wander round the site - I think this is the original Ob An, the Little Bay, which gave its name to the town. There's a row of ancient sheds and many old boats drawn up - I believe this area was given to the fishermen of Oban for working on their boats.
