Islands in the ocean
Woke up to a very light covering of snow this morning. The gritters had been out last night, but haven't done the greatest of jobs around our part of the town!
Spent some time this morning organising poems into an anthology for the u3a Poetry Group. At the meetings members read out a poem of their choice from the chosen theme and offer others for the anthology. Having volunteered to do this I'm finding it more work than I first realised!
Had an appointment at the hospital after lunch and afterwards drove down to the coast on to the Gallanach Road and took my Blip looking down the Sound of Kerrera. The land on the right is the island of Kerrera, the island in the background is Eileach an Naoimh, one of the Garvellachs group and the little lighthouse in the foreground is on the island of Sgeirean Dubha.
Back home to poetry, pictures and other odds and ends. The gritter has just driven by - more frost or snow on the way!
