A New Day Indeed

Hubby was coming home from having his stitches taken out, when I got up to greet the day. The moon was still high in the sky but the risen sun was making it shine. How wonderful to see a blue sky again. I felt a lot better today and my productivity showed it. Thank you Lord, for the speedy recovery. The birds were fed, a bed of mums cleaned, four loads of laundry completed, the bed sanitized, new linens put on, to name a few. We opened our gifts for each other, found a few more from my sister/BIL as well. I straightened up items laying around since Christmas Eve and cleaned up kitty’s area. By lunch time, I was finished for the day. But it felt so good to be useful again. And it is hard to believe I was only stuck in bed for four days, it felt like a month. My sister did not indicate she’s any better though. Hubby sat up my new Kindle Fire HD10. It is huge but luckily will still fit in my handbag. And I will be able to increase the font size for these old eyes. What a nice gift. He liked his new boat shoes and miscellaneous gadgets. My DIL sent us dinner for tonight. Still have not regained my appetite and honestly, everything tastes the same, tasteless. Sure hope you are enjoying your Christmas week. Be safe. Thanks for stopping by.
